Most students from IBS, THIS and tourism sat together in the convention room.

Following lunch, i was introduced to THAT & ICT course simply by Mrs Tuijja Kuisma. We also achieved IBS11 and IBS10 groupings. I had many useful guidelines from Mrs Tuijja Kuisma. * 5th September 2012: Planning Intercontinental evening project. From eight.
30-10. 00, we got as well as friends via IT and Tourism. They will makes me feel like you will discover no distance between several degree programmes. After that, all of us continued to discuss about the International night time project.
Since we have forty international learners from regarding 8 different countries so our manager decided to divide the class into 4 organizations. As a result, all of us will 5 performances by IBS12 group. After lunch time, we arrived at room c117 to learn about education principles and procedures. We were also presented a new study technique called: complications based learning. this was an entirely new experience for me and i also was really capable to start with this study approach. * sixth September 2012: A unforgettable day. For 11. 40 am, all of us gathered in Borealis auditorium to listen to Ms Ritva Ala-Louko, Head of language middle talk about the topic called ” Adapting to a new traditions “. all the details given was very worthwhile for me because I knew how to adapt to new life, fresh culture with no help of relatives. At 13. 00 pm, the new learners walked jointly to the University of Lapland for the info session “Getting to know Rovaniemi”. The program began with a video about Rovaniemi.
It was so funny because I had seen this kind of video while i searched information about Rovaniemi. From then on, the demonstration was about Finnish Law and Regulations; Allows and Permit for Foreigners; Rovaniemi Members; sport solutions at RAMK and ULapland. The information supplied me a general look regarding Rovaniemi. * 7th Sept 2012: Starting ceremony. That day, I obtained up early to prepare pertaining to the beginning ceremony. Accurately, all first-year student officially entered the school gates and that we were pleasant by Mister Martti Lampela-the principal of Rovaniemi University or college of Systems.
We listened his conversation and also received some cute gifts via Ramk’s instructors. When the talk finished, the newest academic season officially commenced. After lunchtime, the student instructors leaded students to the water bank simply by Pohjanhovi, the venue of traditional Rovaniemi UAS as opposed to University of Lapland drinking test. Although, the RAMK’s team won easily yet we had hapiness together.
The day culminated within a party through the night club Bateau. Unfortunately, I had been under 18 years old during that time so I cannot participate in the party. * 10th sept. 2010 2012: the first day of academic season 2012-2013.
The first class was introduction to THAT. Mrs Tuija Kuisma trained us to use the basic computer system in school plus some useful equipment like: optima, win-hawille too. I had to keep them at heart because they will related to my own future research. After lunchtime, i ongoing with “Cross-cultural Man” school. I was mixed up because Krastina’s voice was quite small.
Unfortunately, my spouse and i sat in the back of class. although i could be familiar with main level of the lesson. Mrs Krastina also thus gave us the information regarding the Problem Structured Learning approach. At the end of the day, all of us did not need to have an English check because it was cancelled. * 11th september 2012: The orientation training course and Cross-cultural Man school. The orientation course was about information literacy. We learned to use the e-library to look books, details, ect.
I was given an application to fill out to create a collection card yet i currently had this kind of card. The top of the school was to offer students while using knowledge of e-library. After lunchtime, we studied about team-work and PBL method in Cross-cultural Guy class. inside my group, there were to solve an actual problem in team-work.
After discusing, we developed the best option and we were required to write an essay regarding the importance of teamwork at school for the learning task. Inside my country, i did not have enough in order to work in a team therefore when i worked well in a group i was not really confident. Let me improve personally in the near future.
5. 12th sept 2012: Knowledge about reference and academic writing. Mrs Johanna made me feel very cozy because of her enthusiam. The girl was always ready to help students to finish the reference.
In the future, i will write various essays therefore i have to remind myself to examine hard constantly. Pham Xuan Tung.
