The best book ever before is German born First of all I have to admit that I’m not just a great book-lover, I don’t read a whole lot and this is actually a pity?nternet site know I could improve my personal knowledge, my own vocabulary, my ability in speaking and my illusion too, but unfortunately I actually can’t find lot of spare time to allocate to ebooks. Or, once i find it, I actually get tired soon and I can’t stay concentrate for a long period. Sometimes I re-discover the pleasure of reading particularly when I find a book –or an article- that catches me.
It turned out the case of Christiane N. – Der Gastronomie Shop kinder vom Bahnhof Tierpark, an extraordinary book I read twice (never happened before) that I can easily consider my favourite book in any way. Christiane is a girl who also lived the crazy Seventies in Bremen; in this autobiographic book the girl tells her unregulated existence from the difficulties of the childhood to the age of twenty, when ever she had just left the tunnel of medicine. Her rough father single from her careless mother and Christiane, with her little sibling, had to move to Gropiusstadt, exactly where she attained the awkward side of life. When she was 12 the girl smoke cannabis for the fist time, following with LSD, ephedrine, mandrax, until she turned 14 and took Heroine.
Since then, the girl had been choosing drugs nearly everyday, earning money with prostitution and little robberies. Her mum, after having discovered the girl fainted in the bathroom with a syringe in a problematic vein, tried each rehab although she succeeded only at the age of 17. Christiane still lives in Berlin, has a child and she has had some slips back, but the lady never does not remember her story, also made from friends who have died to get overdose.
I do believe her life is told in a super-realistic way, full of interests, feelings and emotions the fact that reader may sense in first person. I actually loved a lot this book that I went to Munich and I visited Christiane’s spots trying to imagine what was the context just like at her age. I have hundreds of point to add, nevertheless I must complete here, thus i recommend this book with all my own heart!
