When we are on the send, they educated us about the history, quest and vision of the business, corporate beliefs, vessels, services and providers of our approved logistic firm. They also advised us regarding the training regulations, basic home rules and standards like the standards of courtesy and decorum on side, uniform requirements and tidying standards. Also familiarize together with the safety burglar alarm, signs and symbols. I have applied my understanding on bed making which I have learned at school and made my own work easier. Also, within this department, we certainly have assigned to aid passengers with their rooms or perhaps accommodations, this is very taking pleasure in because I had been able to satisfy different people. On the Front Workplace, it was a must to usually wear your teeth in every situation. I have learned here to always stay calm and polite towards the guests no matter what their disposition was. I’ve also discovered the proper way of grooming me personally.
The whole Ojt experience to me was very challenging but fun. I possess practiced and developed a whole lot of my own skills. Every day we have a rotation for those different areas. First week of our practicum at the shipboard was not easy for me because every day we have tothe distinct kind of task for that location, so the team teach all of us like on housekeeping at the cabin we learned the bed making, hand towel folding and on different areas we also do washing passengers area, the comfort room and we also do waste out. At the Front Desk, we were great and assist the passengers of the concerned, by Restaurant just like Horizon and Island Fiesta we were serving foods for the customers, striper out, washing dishes and cleaning the table. were also offering foods and beverages in the Quik Mart.
All Staff teach all of us well for what we were doing on their place and they treat us just like their family also the STO Mister. Joepet Gallego who rounded every hour to see were doing, examine our attendance and take care of us once one of all of us are sick and tired, we met a lot of student in different schools they may be our co-trainees.
Practicum in MVSJP was unforgettable we were well trained and pay attention to to be prepared for every element.
