The first week of the last university holidays was a memorable and meaningful occasions for the members of the English Language Society of SMK Kampung Laut. The contemporary society has organized a special trip to Seri Kasih Orphanage Residence on May 31st the first day of school holidays at Kampung Delima, Batu almost eight, Pasir Putih. There were a total of 75 students involved of to whom 40 of are man students of form four and five while 35 feminine students comprising mainly of form several and 5 students.
There have been 4 associating teachers, Friend Rosdi, teacheradvisor of SMK Kampung Laut English Vocabulary Society, Teacher Madihah, the senior research teacher, Puan Marini, each of our Bahasa Melayu teacher and then Mr Ellie Lian Hing, our Physical Education teacher. They were beaming with happiness and many had agreed to handle our elderly students since adopted siblings. Besides we all also presented large hampers which contains chocolates, cookies, nuts and fresh fruits. The matron, Puan Seri Hajjah Maimunah presented her closing conversation and asked all of us to go back next year another great programs.
We left Seri Kasih Orphanage House at about 5 p. meters. Many of us got cherished the good memories and glad that we had performed our social responsibility together with the residents of Seri Kasih Orphanage Residence. We would undoubtedly love to keep coming back next year with many great programmes in hand.
